2nd hand happines

Last week I bought some second hand furniture online and I am really happy with it :)

These are sideboards and after I cleaned them up they gave me a lot of extra space to store my stuff ^^

The second one actually needs a paintjob, but i'm going to postpone it untill after the schoolexams of this week. (learning takes a lot of time! and I still have to keep on doing my dailly workouts so there is no time left to paint the furniture.)

I made the choice for second hand furniture because it is cheaper of course, but the environment was a factor too. If a manufacturer had to produce new furniture for me it would have been a burden for the environment (think about the wood that has to be hacked and transported, the actual producing of the furniture and the transport of it) With a little help of the internet I found these sideboards near my house so transport would'nt be to much of a burden and I liberated some people of their unwanted stuff. 

I'm always looking for the best way to do things and I like to take care of the environment as much as I can and I think I made the right choice with second hand furniture.

What's your opinion on this? And how do you like my new sideboards?

I hope they will have a happy second life at my home!

Omdat 1 van mijn scala aan goede voornemens was dat ik vaker wou gaan bloggen vond ik dat ik maar is op zoek moest naar een appje. En dat heb ik gevonden :) Dus vanaf nu kan ik overal en altijd bloggen! Of jullie daar nou blij mee moeten zijn laat ik maar even in het midden...

Al wat langer ben ik op zoek naar een hippe app om leuke foto's te maken. Alleen al omdat ik het gewoon leuk vind om bij elke blog een foto te zetten. Voor de iphone heb je natuurlijk hipstamatic, maar ik heb geen iphone (jammer maar helaas) dus ik ben op zoek naar iets dat er op lijkt, en dan het liefst gratis! Ik heb namelijk geen creditcard en het lijkt me het beste dat dat zo blijft.

Heb je een goede/leuke tip, dan hoor ik het graag :)

Let me introduce myself

Hello!

I am Laura, I am 24 (since last saturday) and I will be using this blog to tell you what's keeping me busy.
I will try to do this in English as much as possible so everyone can read and understand it, but also because I think it is important to learn how to write in English because it might come in handy later. ( I don't  know how and when but you just never know ;) )

So since this is the introducing myself to you blog I probably have to tell you a little bit more about myself then just my name and age. I live in the netherlands and I am studying applied psychology. I am attending the second year of this study. I live in a 3 bedroom appartment with 2 cats and a rabbit. They are named Joplin (the white cat) and Ramses (that has to be te red one then ;) ) and Amber is my bunny :) .(I don't have a picture of her)

Besides my pets there's someone else in my life who is very important to me and that's my boyfriend. He lives in Germany, but spends much of his time with me :) And this is us:

This picture was taken when we where cellebrating my birthday last friday in the Hague and Scheveningen where we went to see the musical Marry Poppins wich was very cool by the way!

Well that's about all I have to say right now, I guess you will learn more about me when I start updating new blogs :)
